Kedington FC Go Through 6-1 Against Toppesfield.

After Last weeks inability to put goals home against bottom of the table Punch 68 the pressure was on Kedington not to go out of the Knock Out Cup in the first round. Fortunately after 7 weeks off the field due to snow Toppesfield proved totally unprepared for a deluge of goals from Kedington.(Details & Pictures...)

Editorial

When I Was A Lad

The Editor When I started talking to people about Suffolk's proposal to change the catchment areas for Kedington's school children to Samuel Ward. I knew it was only a matter of time before somebody told me that when they were a lad they always had to walk to school and they were OK. Unsurprisingly in this case it was not three miles across open country along the side of an unlit A road. All I can say to this is that when I was a lad on occasions I walked home from Samuel Ward School unaccompanied in the dark on quite a regular basis.(Contines...)

    It is believed this listing was for the planned modifications to Silver Street that have now been postponed indefinitely. KedingtonNews.co.uk is seeking confirmation of this.
  • 6/4/10 and 7/4/10 - LANE/ROAD CLOSURE - Coupals Road near Golf Course entrance.
    This work for BT is expected to cause delays and possible land and road closures between Kedington and Haverhill.
