30th December 2009
It had begun to feel as if snow before Christmas was a thing of the past to stay with me only as a childhood memory, but in this time of meteorological uncertainty surprise seems almost a certainty. Thus I do not know weather I should or should not feel surprise at Kedington's prolonged covering of Snow in week before Christmas.I make no secret that whilst I recognise the reasons many people dread and loath such Icey weather I personally love it. I will admit that at my age an unexpected submission to the laws of gravity (Posh way of saying landing on one's bum) is still more fun than painful and to speed down hill on a sledge is still a tremendous thrill, but nobody can deny the awesome beauty snow. So here for those of you who would rather not have to go out in it is some of that beauty.
