Firstly The Date will not be 8th till the 10th of December but instead the trees will be on display over the weekend from Friday the 10th until Sunday the 12th.
Secondly, since the rules were decided upon earlier in the year the first artificial Christmas trees have appeared in the shops and it has become apparent that the standard size for such trees are three foot and five foot. for this reason the Organisers have expanded the two size classes. The children's class has now been expanded to two to three foot (aprox') and the adult class will now be four to five foot (aprox'). The organisers have asked us to remind readers that anyone wanting to enter a tree should let them know of that intention before November the 14th to allow them time to plan for display and power for lights. Full details for the event including how to enter a tree can be found in our events section.
