The Eleventh Hour Of The Eleventh Day.

The eleventh of November was lashed by wind and rain from the start, but for members of the Royal British Legion in the village and for others also present in Kedington's church yard there is a duty that must be done this day regardless of wet and cold.

Although the Sunday following Armistice day is traditionally the better attended of the acts of remembrance, to those who attend it the service on the eleventh day of the eleventh month is no less important. Approximately 35 people gathered around Kedington's war memorial for the two minute silence.

Fortunately the rain, although not abating completely slackened off to the occasional light shower.

Those who gathered today will also be gathering on Sunday for a full parade through the village.
