Staff at The Library were the first to discover the break in as they arrived to open their doors. They found however that the doors had been forced open causing serious damage. The Thieves moved the cameras inside the Library and proceeded to steal all the DVDs on display. What they were not smart enough to realise was that the cases on display were in fact all empty and the crooks got away with not a single DVD.
The antisocial criminals then broke in to the main Community Centre again causing serious damage to more than one door. Once inside the thieve broke doors and locks on every room and cupboard in the centre digging through the equipment of every one of the various community groups who use the centre. Although not all groups have as yet checked their equipment to see what is missing it is already known that 3 Amplifiers were taken and drinks from the Noah's House cupboard. The Amplifiers, One of which was believed to be of the make "Pro Sound" were believed to have been put in black bin liners which the thieves obtained by emptying the bins over the floor. They were stolen from both the KCA and Church in the Field.
Security footage shows there were two thieves who both arrived on BMX style bikes at around half past midnight and stayed until 2am. One was approximately 5'6" in a dark hoodie top and light tracksuit bottoms where as the other was slightly shorter with both a dark hoodie top and tracksuit bottoms. Both were wearing gloves and carried torches.
