Daylight Burglaries - Police ask for Help 22/1/10 |
The next burglary continued on following afternoon when at some time between 3.15pm and 3.50pm a break in was attempted at the back of a property on Dash End Lane. The attempt was unsuccessful but damaged a door. Police have linked this incident to the two previous ones on the 19th. Calls in relation to any of this incident or any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area should be made to Haverhill Police on 01284774100 reference HH/10/125.
Burglars was more successful on when they broke in to a barn on Hall Road between 4 O'clock on Sunday afternoon and 12:30pm on Tuesday by forcing a lock. In this case two angle grinders and a generator were stolen. Again calls can be made to the number mentioned above but quoting the reference HH/10/182.
The break ins continued on Monday Evening between 6 and 7pm as thieves used bolt cutters to enter a garage at the back of a property in Rectory Road. It is believed they were disturbed by the householder and they escaped with nothing but again left damage.
