It was this burglary that kicked off a spate of burglaries and attempted burglaries in the village over the past few weeks. Police have yet to comment on weather they will also be pressing charges with relation any of the other offences in the village over the past few weeks, but earlier statements link the Taylors farm Road Burglary to a two more attempted break-ins one happening around the same time as the break in for which this man has been arrested in a house next door.
Earlier Statements from the police said that two individuals had been sited in relation to the burglary. At this time police have not commented as to weather a further arrest is expected.
Police warn that even with this arrest people should remain vigilant and take measures to protect their property such as as ensuring good quality locks are fitted to door and windows, Leaving lighting or radios on or using a timer switch to turn lights on when not house holders are away and having valued property security marked and photographed.
