Anyone watching the first half of Kedington F.C's first game of the season at home to Glemsford Gladiators might have thought it was going to be a rough season for the boys as they handed a two goal lead to the visitors before the break but by the end of the match they had pulled back for a narrow 5-4 victory over a team that would by the end of the month be proving itself the village's main rivals on the pitch.

Kedington's Second match of the season must have been a huge boost to moral as they laid the ghosts of last season to rest by not only beating their nemesis of last season Belchamps who pinched second place off our boys right at the close of last season, but also proved that they seem to have shaken their habit of a post break collapse which so dogged their score lines in the 09-10 season. The 4-2 score line a well earned prize.

Kedington then travelled to Toppesfield to round off the month with a 0-5 annihilation of their hosts, which could have been more had the Toppesfield goalie not been in exceptional form.

This final win left Kedington the only Undefeated team in the league this year and at the top of the table equal on points with Glemsford Gladiators (Yes the ones we beat at the start of the season) with a game in hand and well ahead on goal difference.

Kedington's next game is our second against joint leaders Glemsford this time at their ground. A Win here would give Kedington a clear lead at the top of the table and with a game in hand over the only teams (by then it could just be one team) within three points of us. However Glemsford have been our toughest opponents so far and are certainly capable of upsetting Kedington's dreams. although still early in the season it could be this next match that defines it.
